Terms of Service

This is a reference translation. The Korean original is the governing version; where the two differ, the Korean text applies.

REMORE Clinic treats the protection of personal data on this website as a founding principle, and complies with the personal data provisions of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilisation and Information Protection and with the personal data protection guidelines established by the Ministry of Information and Communication.

Through these terms, REMORE Clinic undertakes not to collect personal data without the user's consent, and explains how personal data is used and how it is protected.

Personal data obtained through membership registration is never transferred or sold for profit.

Article 1 Consent to the collection of personal data

If you wish to register as a member of REMORE Clinic, agreeing to these terms is taken as consent to the collection of your personal data.

REMORE Clinic will take the steps needed so that withdrawal of membership in respect of collected personal data can be exercised by the same means and procedure as the collection itself.

Article 2 Purpose

The purpose of these terms is to observe and set out the conditions and procedures for using the services provided by REMORE Clinic, together with other necessary matters, as prescribed by the Telecommunications Business Act and its Enforcement Decree.

On registration, personal data is used to verify identity for the provision of services and to administer membership.

It is used to deliver the services REMORE Clinic provides — medical consultation, appointment booking, information materials and details of events.

REMORE Clinic maintains a channel through which you can raise views and complaints regarding the protection of personal data. If you have a complaint, contact the person responsible for personal data management at REMORE Clinic and it will be acted on as soon as it is received.

Article 3 Effect and amendment of these terms

1. REMORE Clinic does not provide or share your information with any other person or organisation without your consent. Where sharing with a partner would improve the service, you will be notified individually and your consent obtained; if you do not consent, nothing is shared with that partner.

2. You may check your own details at any time, and may correct or delete them if you wish.

3. Your personal data is destroyed once the purpose of its collection or provision has been achieved, as set out below. Where it must continue to be held, your consent is obtained.

- Membership registration data: when membership is withdrawn or the member is removed

- Treatment payment data: on the date the treatment fee is settled in full, or on expiry of the limitation period for the claim

- Treatment data: when the medical care or service has been delivered or provided

(Except where retention is required under the Commercial Act or other statutes.)

Article 4 Withdrawal, re-registration and restriction of service

Withdrawal

1. To withdraw from the service, the member must request cancellation directly from the operator by email.

2. When applying to withdraw, provide your name, ID, telephone number and the reason for cancellation. Membership is cancelled once these match the membership record.

3. Withdrawal is complete when the existing ID and password no longer log in.

Re-registration

A user who has withdrawn and wishes to re-register may request re-registration directly by email.

Restriction of service

The company may terminate the use agreement without prior notice, or suspend use of the service for a set period, where a member does any of the following.

1) Plans or carries out use of the service as a criminal act

2) Causes detriment to another person

3) Registers twice under different IDs as the same user

4) Impairs sound use of the service

5) Otherwise breaches relevant statutes or the conditions of use set by the company

Article 5 Measures to prevent leakage of personal data

In using your personal data, REMORE Clinic works to keep it secure against theft, loss and damage by the following means.

1. Your personal data is protected by an ID and password, can be amended or deleted only by the system administrator and by you, and is protected by separate security functions, with encryption applied when files or data are transmitted.

2. REMORE Clinic uses antivirus software to prevent harm to users from computer viruses.

3. REMORE Clinic uses security measures that allow personal data to be transmitted safely over the network using cryptographic algorithms, together with measures that prevent leakage of your personal data through hacking and block intrusion from outside.

Article 6 Obligations of the member

1. Members must observe the matters set out in these terms, the other rules established by REMORE Clinic, the service guidance and notices announced by the company, and the relevant statutes. Members must not act in a way that obstructs the work of REMORE Clinic or damages its reputation.

2. Except where REMORE Clinic bears responsibility under the relevant statutes and its personal data protection policy, the member is responsible for consequences arising from careless management or improper use.

3. When applying for the service or changing membership details, members must complete every item truthfully under their real name. No rights may be asserted where false information, or another person's information, is registered.

4. Members must not infringe the intellectual property rights of the company or of third parties.
